We tried Bragjoli, a traditional Maltese dish, and it was exceptional rich and one of the best traditional meals I’ve had. The cheesecake was just as good, light and perfectly balanced.
The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, and we were told their lasagne is what they’re most famous for, which we’re definitely saving for next time.

Perfectly layered, rich, and comforting — every bite was pure heaven. The ragu was deeply flavourful, the béchamel sauce was silky, and the cheese was perfectly golden and crisp on top.
We were all silent while eating, just savoring. I’ll be dreaming about this dish for years.
If you’re in Malta, do yourself a favor: go to Yana’s and order the lasagne.

The place is small and fills up quickly, but we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The person who served us was very helpful, polite, and professional, making our lunch even more enjoyable.
Despite the midday heat, the umbrellas offered some shade (though a fan would have been a bonus).
We ordered bruschetta, focaccia, salad, and lasagna. Everything was delicious, but the lasagna was truly unforgettable—the ultimate comfort food.
If Garfield ever visited this restaurant, he’d never leave! 😋

The creativity and quality of each ingredient that goes on the plate is unmatched. I can easily say that I’ve had some of the best ravioli I’ve ever tasted. It was all about the quality of the filling and not about the overpowering sauce that hides the freshness of the star of the plate. Apart from this, the place itself is really cozy and is very well-priced considering the location and the quality of the food.”
